stanley anscorm has finished the follow-up to battle beyond the sun. you can expect two epic tracks on this nearly 30 minutes record. although the tracks are based on identical compositional material, they shine in very different color. the black side is of high density and impresses with remarkable bass figures which seems to grow on the fundamental principles of low frequencies. these figures are easily carrying loads of percussions and even an orchestral set of horns which does not seem to be from this world. the white side can be understand as a lighter interpretation of the same topic and it is thrill of its own to discover the intersections between the two tracks. sure, this music is nothing you listen to in an elevator - stanleys art demands attention, there is no doubt about this - but the reward you get if you listen or dance to it with an open heart is of a kind you might never come in contact with somewhere else.

together through life is bob dylans upcoming 33rd studio album (around his 60th album if you count official live albums and compilations). dylan produced the record under the pseudonym of jack frost, which he used for his previous two studio albums, love and theft and modern times. dylan revealed that the new record was heavily influenced by the sound of chess records and sun records. in an interview on his website bobdylan.com, the 67 year old singer compares the sounds of together through life, to the 1950s sounds of blues singers willie dixon and howlin wolf. dylan has a tough record to follow after his 2006 release modern times won two grammys and became his first number one record in the u.s. since 1976.

second release on important corestyle, the sister label of important hardcore records which concentrates on the more underground styles of hardcore... this time the label proudly presents 2 highly respected artists on one e.p.! on the a side two slammin tracks by north german top producer moleculez who is responsible for loads of kickin releases on top labels like the third movement, meta4, born ultraviolent and loads of more... the good man serves us two different tracks, which both will be highly appreciated by all lovers of hardcore! the flip side offers two tunes by stan grewzell (known for his releases on industrial strength). alluring ghosts is a rather slow (almost doomcore) track with a very recognazible synth sound and a marching bassdrum. mondmarsch is more industrial/dark/tech orientated.all in all, a stylistically conclusive e.p.

the runners are a new project by our man lukas who has been with dirt crew and players paradise from the beginning and his buddy kevin cook. both young and very talented producers who teamed up to drop some delicious deep house on the next dirt crew release. kevin just made the move to ibiza while bristol based lukas is very succesful in running his buoyancy parties over there. with >hot fun< and >woman pleaser< coming in two different deep mixes this ep is one for the house lovers, taking dirt crew more and more towards the soulfull and groovy path of the new house movement. to top things off we asked another rising star in the scene and one of our favourite producers at this moment jay shepheard (compost, diynamic, drumpoet community) who recently made the move from london to berlin. he delivers a great remix with a deep sub bass and a lush chord filled groove… you will love it
